The Safari Lodge is set in the indigenous bushveld of the 7000 hectare Amakhala Game Reserve, close to the Addo Elephant National Park. A superb wildlife experience includes the option of a river cruise.

Enjoy all the comforts of an intimate five-star bush retreat. The main lounge area and some of the air-conditioned luxury safari suites are appointed in full view of a waterhole. At night the kudu horn is the summons to a starlit fireside dinner featuring local specialities and South African wines. Luxurious double baths and outdoor showers add to the delight.

A romantic, malaria-free destination, Safari Lodge is ideal for a Big Five experience after visiting Cape Town and the Garden Route. A three-day stay allows for a combination of activities on Amakhala with a game drive in the Addo Elephant National Park and a visit to the Born Free Foundation.
