KINGS CAMP - TIMBAVATI

Kings Camp is situated in the bio-diverse Timbavati Nature Reserve in Limpopo Province, and captures all the charm of a bygone age. The camp faces an open plain and a waterhole that is frequently visited by wildlife.

Nine spacious suites, and two honeymoon suites with pools, have air-conditioning, luxurious bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, mini-bar and private verandah. Camp facilities include an inviting bar-lounge, a gym, beauty tsala, library with DSTV, wireless internet, and a pooldeck overlooking the waterhole. Fine food and wines are enjoyed in the dining room, or outdoors at the fireside in a traditional boma.

Eventful game drives take place each morning and in the late afternoon, the second drive returning after nightfall. This allows for sightings of diurnal as well as nocturnal species. Walking safaris are also on offer to acquaint guests with the Timbavati’s smaller varieties of fauna and Flora, and these optional excursions take place daily after breakfast.
